The Rifat Chadirji Prize 2017 - TOP 50

concept and project: Agnieszka Chromiec, Magdalena Koźluk, Karolina Tatar /2017

Two most important components of the city of Mosul have been sabotaged – its social and physical  structure. 20,000 people have fled the city under ISIS occupation since October 2016, their houses have been tuned to a pile of debris. The war crisis added up to preexisting problem of housing shortage in the city.

The aim of the competition was to answer a question: how to provide permanent, long-lasting housing with minimal resources and as quickly as possible?
